She was set to turn 100 on January 17, a milestone that is celebrated on the cover of the current issue of People magazine. The magazine has been available on newsstands nationwide since Wednesday and has been arriving in subscribers' mailboxes this week.
"We are deeply saddened by the news of Betty White's passing," People editor-in-chief Dan Wakeford told Insider in a statement. "We are honored that she recently chose to work with PEOPLE to celebrate her extraordinary life and career."

Wonder if she got the “jab” a few months ago?
Rest in Peace and respect to her for a long and celebrated career, buf I must be one of a very few people who was never a fan of Betty White and rarely saw her in anything.

Oh good grief.
If anything did it, besides being nearly 100, I would say the lockdowns didn’t help. She struck me as someone who needed to stay busy, even as she got older. The COVID lockdowns put a stop to that, whether over concern for her health or because opportunities were rare with the country locked down.
I read that she belonged to the Unity Church?
Is that the same as Unitarian?
I never even heard of Betty White until I saw her as Sue Ann Nivens on ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’. White won awards for her work there, and rightly so.

And all that was in her cart was a huge gallon of whisky. I think it was Vodka. Who knows if she was having a party, stocking up on her one a year, or if it was the purchase for a week lol. But she was one amazing lady!

I liked Betty White. May she rest in peace. For some reason though, this reminded me of Time and Newsweek already having their magazines printed up for Hillary Clinton winning the 2016 presidential election.
Well, she’ll still turn 100. She’ll just be decomposing.
She has already lived over 100 years.
