Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer told Democratic colleagues Monday that this legislative session has led to moments of "deep discontent and frustration" as the Build Back Better Act hangs in limbo, blaming Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., for not coming "to an agreement" with President Biden, while maintaining that the caucus will continue to "try to find a way forward" on the president’s economic agenda.

In a letter to Democratic colleagues Monday morning, Schumer, D-N.Y., reflected on the first session of the 117th Congress — which he pointed out "began with Republicans in the majority but quickly switched to Democratic control by the slimmest margins and has become the longest 50-50 Senate in history."

If Murkowski thinks Trump’s primarying of her will be successful, here’s the alternative to Manchin’s support.

West Virginia loves Joe Manchin mostly because he pretends to stand up to the corrupt Marxist Democrat party one in awhile. It used to be a strong Democrat state (one of only five that voted to re-elect Jimmy Carter in 1980) before the party went full Marxist.

And this time, Joe actually stood up to them. Imagine that!

They’re not gonna let a little thing like the Democratic Process get in their way.

Democrats will find a way forward.

Absolutely they will.

Democrats never give up.

If only the Republicans worked half as hard as the Dems, then we might have an effective opposition.

I pray to God that the 2022 primaries flush the RINOs down the toilet where they belong.

They will bar Republicans and Manchin/Sinema from the chamber by force and get a quorum of 48.

Or try, anyway.

GRAHAM: “To my Democratic colleagues: You have been misrepresenting to the American people the real cost of this bill. CBO scored the bill without gimmicks and it went from $1.75 trillion to almost $5 trillion. It is not paid for. Without gimmicks, it adds $3 trillion to the deficit.”

GRAHAM: “[Congressman] Jason [Smith] and myself asked the CBO to score Build Back Better assuming that [certain provisions] with a sunset clause would actually stay in for ten years – which is reality. Ronald Reagan said the closest thing to immortality on earth is a government program. So we all know that these spending programs Democrats are trying to put in Build Back Better, they don’t want them to go away. And if history is any judge, they won’t go away.”

“We’ll just cut it down to two years versus 10 years. We’ll cut this one to four years versus 10 years or one year versus 10 years.”

“That’s not being genuine as far as I’m concerned with my constituents in West Virginia”

Manchin has been drawing all the fire, but Kyrsten Sinema is equally against BBB. So Schumer can just piss on himself.
