President Biden honored the life and legacy of former Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kansas) on Sunday, calling him “among the greatest of the Greatest Generation.”
Dole died in his sleep early Sunday morning at the age of 98, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation announced in a statement on Twitter. The former senator disclosed in February that he had been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and would be undergoing treatment.

Biden keeps being a liar. He doesn’t believe his words, he just has to say it because Dole was a good loser to democrats.
They only say a good thing about a republican when he dies. I remember how they went after him during his career and his 1996 presidential “walk”.

Bob Dole is to be commended for his service and sacrifice to the nation.
But as a US Senator, he was part of the “loyal opposition” and as a GOP nominee for President in 1996, he was very weak, almost pathetic, and that’s putting it politely.
The circle jerk eulogizing the political elite of the uniparty does for each other makes me ill.

It’s a shame that this senile asshole has anything to say that isn’t already scripted for him to regugitate. Bob Dole deserved much, much more than this petty, pooping, pompous senile jackass.
Even so, might as well agree that the sun is yellow. I wouldn’t believe Foe Jiden without checking if he told me that. He’s not fit to shine Bob Dole’s shoes.
When I was growing up, my Congressman, Watkins Abbitt, would give me printed copies of the Congressional Record. Reading some of the committee records, I thought Bob Dole had to be the dumbest person in Congress. He would ask the same question over and over. Then I looked at the record closely, He would rephrase the question every time looking for a consistent response. Not dumb after all.
Dole was a great man. Biden, not so much. Brandon also thought highly of “Sheets” Byrd.

My father was one year younger than Dole, but similar background and story, was in the Pacific in WWII.
He lived a full life, and I’m glad he’s gone. He wouldn’t recognize his country any longer, nor recognize his Navy which formed his adulthood.
The classless praising someone with class. Oh well, better than nothing.
I know Dole was a good guy and a war hero. However, I remember him most for being a gentlemanly loser.
