A Virginia couple in their 40s who refused pleas from their family to get the COVID-19 vaccine because they read misinformation online passed away from the disease within two weeks of each other, leaving behind five children and an infant grandson.
High school sweethearts Kevin, 48, and Misty Mitchem, 46, regretted not taking the vaccine just before they died, according to their bereaved loved ones.
Misty Mitchem, a medical transcriptionist by trade, declined to get the shot even though she had diabetes.
'He called me up [from the hospital] and said, "Mom, I love you and I wish that I’d got the shot",' Kevin's mother, Terry Mitchem, told NBC Washington.
'Of course I told him, "It's past. You can't do anything about it".'
The couple is survived by their four young children: Riley, 17; Leah, 14; and twins Taylor and Aiden, 11.
Kevin Mitchem had one daughter, Angel, 22, from a previous relationship. Angel is the mother of Lincoln, who will turn two in November.

Kevin Mitchem is survived by an adult child from a previous relationship and four young children from his marriage to Misty.
After their parents’ deaths, the four younger children went to live with an aunt and uncle in South Carolina, according to Kevin’s brother, Mike Mitchem of Spotsylvania County, Virginia.
'Both our families have been turned upside down,' Mike Mitchem told the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

In another article which I am pretty sure was about this couple I read that the husband was sent home to rest when he tested positive. There was no mention of any treatment at all. Not even to take aspirin to help prevent clotting. No mention of monitoring O2 levels.
I am quite sure that hospitals are being told to abandon the non vaccinated who test positive to their own fate.
Tyrannical leftists LOVE these kinds of stories.
These stories are the exception, of course, but leftists promote them because they are divisive. And divisiveness serves their cause to shame free thinkers into obeying government mandates.

I’m glad to see the gofundme raised 20K for the kids but, at the risk of sounding like an insurance salesman, at least one parent should have life insurance so the family isn’t left destitute from any sudden loss, and children don’t become dependents of the state. Don’t know if that’s the case here, but just in general. Car accidents, alien attacks, icebergs, never know in life..
That would be one way to force the vaccines on people. Don’t treat the unvaccinated.

At that point, said hospital policymakers and those who go along with it are criminals.
There is little doubt that most young people will not die if infected with COVID-19, that some young people when given the vaccine have experienced myocarditis ( most survive with unknown long term consequences), that people who can document IgG antibodies to COVID-19 are immune and not likely to infect others and adults have the right to make their own personal heath decisions.
However having said that, people should be reminded of the terrible sick toll, chronic debilitation, crowded hospitals and deaths that happened until these vaccines were widely deployed. True they are not perfect but those who decide not to be vaccinated are at some risk. It is their choice and they really are not a significant threat to anyone who has survived the disease or has been vaccinated. The CDC has been overtly politicized but it has been shown that the best way to limit viral infectious illnesses such as measles, polio, mumps , rubella, chicken pox and in another era small pox was to vaccinate the highest percentage possible of the population. If you study medical history, those vaccines have stopped pandemics, suffering and the inconsolable grief that comes with them.
No Ivermectin? Lots of other treatments available. The doctors involved have blood on their hands. RIP
Why the obsession with forcing everyone to get vaccinated?
If the vaccine works,
then the vaccinated are safe.
If the vaccine doesn’t work,
there’s no reason to take it.
Either way there’s no need to mandate vaccines except to continue the ‘pandemic’ and the emergency powers that come with it.

you equate them when you place the mrna shot in the same camp of the vaccines prior that have ‘daved so many people’ in the past

For the record, my comment about forcing everyone to get vaccinated is what I am observing with this administration. For something that appears to have its own issues, even if “less” than not being vaccinated, I wouldn’t go around and tell people to get vaccinated.
“I wish I had gotten the jab (shot)”. They always seem to know they are dying of COVID, and say that just before passing.
Also have some concerns about this new mRNA technology being used for the first time on a massive scale. Yet consider what happens when an individual becomes infected with COVID-19 or any virus. The amount of viral mRNA circulating within them dwarfs the amount given with a vaccine. Also you cannot deny that these vaccines did break the back of the COVID-19 pandemic and most people are now able to lead reasonably normal lives despite the silly masks.
