President Joe Biden made excuses for his administration’s failures on Friday by blaming former President Donald Trump.
“Take a look at what I inherited when I came into office, when I came into office the state of affairs, where we were,” Biden said, repeating a familiar complaint by new presidents struggling in their first year of office.

He inherited a great economy, great relationships with nations, energy independence and protection at the border to name a few. You screwed it all up, Potato Head!
You inherited a working border strategy, you inherited working vaccines, you inherited an economy that was aching to be released, you inherited a country with cheap gas prices and was exporting excess.

If he sat in the White House basement after he was sworn in and didn’t do anything the past 8 months, the country would be better off than it is now.

But the problems aren’t what you inherited. They are what you changed, and what you just plain messed up.
The United States hasn’t had a working border strategy in at east half a century. Sorry, the only thing that slowdown in illegals was because of COVID. Biden upped the number illegals coming in, but Trump was allowing way to any to come in.

Joe probably is in the basement, but others are hard at work dismantling this country.
It’s inevitable that the drooling idiot will continue to fail. His failure will speed up even faster if congress, God forbid, passes his inflationary infrastructure and welfare bills. Not to mention the pending nuclear stand off with China that is pending.
He has no shame.

He is correct. He inherited a booming economy, a cast in concrete deal with the Taliban, controlled borders, high employment across all sectors, energy independence, and much much more.
How was Biden expected to destroy the country with all of this going against him? Still, he has done an amazing job based on his complete contempt for the American people.

A fellow had just been hired as the new CEO of a large high tech corporation. The CEO who was stepping down met with him privately and presented him with three numbered envelopes. “Open these if you run up against a problem you don’t think you can solve,” he said.
Well, things went along pretty smoothly, but six months later, sales took a downturn and he was really catching a lot of heat. About at his wit’s end, he remembered the envelopes. He went to his drawer and took out the first envelope. The message read, “Blame your predecessor.”
The new CEO called a press conference and tactfully laid the blame at the feet of the previous CEO. Satisfied with his comments, the press — and Wall Street - responded positively, sales began to pick up and the problem was soon behind him.
About a year later, the company was again experiencing a slight dip in sales, combined with serious product problems. Having learned from his previous experience, the CEO quickly opened the second envelope. The message read, “Reorganize.” This he did, and the company quickly rebounded.
After several consecutive profitable quarters, the company once again fell on difficult times. The CEO went to his office, closed the door and opened the third envelope.
The message said, “Prepare three envelopes.”
