And while environmentalists want even more restrictions, Republicans and Americans whose livelihood depends on land are strongly opposed to what they see as a land grab by the federal government.
“This ‘30×30’ goal has received a great deal of attention in farming and ranching communities across the country,” American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall wrote in April. “America’s agriculturalists are asking whether their good work will be recognized by the administration. They have voluntarily enrolled more than 140 million acres of private land into federal and non-federal conservation programs — a land mass larger than the size of New York and California combined.

As a landowner whose property (200+ acres) boarders nat’l forest on 2 sides, far as I know you’ve never been allowed to cut down trees on nat’l forest land. I do know often times culling downed trees IS allowed for forest fire management/prevention measures though.
Well, maybe he’s making a deal with China and they will immediately become the legal owners. You know, to help pay off the liberalDemocrat created debt we’ve incurred over the decades.
If he’s going to do it, let him apply the same standard he is using to distribute monoclonal treatments. Each state should have the exact same percentage of land set aside. No, I don’t favor this but I detest hypocrisy.
