NYC's Population Hits A Record 8.8 Million, According To 2020 Census

New York City experienced dramatic growth over the last ten years, bringing its current population to a record 8.8 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, which released the first detailed statistics from the 2020 Census.

On balance, the city added more than 629,000 residents, from 8.175 million measured in 2010, but city planning officials said that a big part of the story was that far fewer residents left the city than had been projected by census officials.

The census data is as of April 1, 2020, which is before big numbers of people moved out . We were in the early stages of lockdown and restrictions as of that date.

Rigged numbers most likely. The only other explanation is that it is filling up with illegals. The good people are all leaving NYC. Many are leaving NY all together.

Then they take the bus to places like Hazelton and Allentown Pa.

I commute into NYC all the time. I’ve never counted myself but there does seem to be a fairly decent amount of people in NYC.

New York is the largest donor state in the U.S., with a negative balance of payments at $22,798,000,000. For every dollar New York gives the federal government, its residents are only receiving $0.91 back.
