Biden administration launches plans to combat inflation

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) — The White House is remaining optimistic and Republicans are sounding the alarm after U.S. consumer prices rose yet again in July, according to federal data.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says the consumer price index for all urban consumers has increased 5.4% over the last year and inflation was up for the third month in a row.

President Joe Biden on Wednesday announce that his administration is taking new steps to lower prices at the pump and the grocery store. Biden said his plan will “crack down on what some major players are doing in the economy that are keeping prices higher than they need be” and “put more money in your pocket.”

One aspect of the inflation, he said, is supply chain bottlenecks. He said he’s working to fix that.

“Bringing together port operators, shipping lines and the labor unions … to speed up the ports’ operation,” he said.

Like shutting down pipelines and cutting domestic oil and gas production? Biden should try to find the scoundrel who did that. The same one who taunts him in that piece of glass in the bathroom every morning.

New trillions of inflation causing programs from Congress....

That’s the trick in photo-ops and political publicity stunts.
All the media will cover “This President truly cares about inflation. In Delaware as a young man he had to find a way to pay for gas just as we do in these times as we heal from the terrible Trump years.

Suggestion: Gerald Ford’s Whip Inflation Now “WIN” buttons for our shirts.

““Bringing together port operators, shipping lines and the labor unions … to speed up the ports’ operation,” he said.”

The dems will argue that the private sector is inefficient and driving up inflation and the answer needs to be ... more government spending.

These people remind me of how communists target their enemies and make their so-called points. Oh .. wait a minute.

Biden administration launches plans to combat inflation

The Fed has already printed $6 trillion in the past 12 months (40 percent of all U.S. dollars in existence). And the Senate just passed a $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that will mostly be funded by more money printing. Inflation is here to stay folks.

They don’t care and won’t do anything useful. At this point we know whatever they say is just blowing smoke. They feel like they are permanently beyond accountability, to the press, the people, anybody. And it looks like they are right. So they just spew some non-responsive drivel and go about their business of decomposing America.
