The Biden administration is spreading the message far and wide this holiday weekend that the United States is getting back to normal after a grueling 16 months from the coronavirus pandemic that has killed more than 600,00 Americans.
President Biden, Vice President Harris and other top officials are fanning out across the country for the Fourth of July for what the White House has dubbed the "America is Back Together" tour. The travel, paired with a large celebration at the White House on Sunday for first responders and military families, amounts to a victory lap for the administration as coronavirus cases and deaths continue to tick down.
But experts warned the White House must be careful not to be seen declaring victory over the virus at a time when the more contagious and potentially deadly delta variant is circulating and less vaccinated pockets of the country have seen setbacks.

As to everything being normal now. That was foreseeable. At or around his 100 day mark he was going to declare victory, as he did, and take credit for saving the US, the world, maybe our galaxy and universe.
Biden and the Dems are now in power and they are responsible, so they have to sort of, kinda, act like adults now because they can’t blame someone else. They own it, so they have to think about the consequences unlike in 2020 where the more damage that is done, the better it is for them in the elections.
As the Misleadia (HTT Laz) pretends that the doddering old fool in the White House had anything whatsoever with a return to normal.
They’re trying to halt Biden’s polling decline. They think if they can make the subject ‘COVID,’ it will help detract attention from the border crisis and the staggering rise in crime (which aren’t entirely unrelated, BTW).
The 600,000 dead is a lie no better than votes for Biden. I don’t deny the Virus. I deny Fedgov, liberals and Covid sycophants. The death count was always a political number. I suspect a good number died by being thrown in Corona Hotspot nursing homes, purposely mislabeled death everything Covid (eradication of flu and influenza! hooray!) and death by lock down (suicides, overdoses, lack of health services and societal breakdown). The overall death rate in America statistically based on a ten year period has no real spike.
May they all get it so we can see what a nothing burger it is.
