How strong were the winds? How heavy the gate? How fragile the car? Engineering minds want to know. This could be a scene in a "Final Destination" movie.

What a terrible thing to happen to the young woman. Her family and friends have my deepest sympathy.
(Describing her as “the next Oprah” is probably not the best way to get total strangers to care.)

Strong winds is an act of God. I can’t see how the could win, but then again In America today we elect a senile old guy as our leader so anything can happen.

How is the park department responsible for something like this?

She wasn’t even fat, so how could she be the future Oprah?

Esther Nakajjigo, 25, was honeymooning with her new husband in Utah’s Arches National Park when she died in a freak accident
To: MikeSteelBe
This is certainly a horrific accident, and it does sound like the Park service was at fault. However, this very short passage mentions this “future Oprah” idea a total of EIGHT times? Isn’t it tragic enough that the woman died in this manner, regardless of what someone thought her potential was?

Well, I guess that goes to show you that the world itself has had enough of Oprah.
Her run is over.

“The next Oprah”? Is she a news lady on a Baltimore TV station?

Stay away from Arches National Park.

Sooo, $270 million because she was supposed to be the next Oprah? That's WAY more than the Fair Market Value.

Death by park gate. Could be a good idea for the next “Final Destination” movie.
