Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) is facing major tests of his ability to unite the Democratic caucus heading into a turbulent summer stretch.
Schumer, who has touted unity as a crucial asset, will now need to rally Senate Democrats to stick together amid new signs of division between moderate Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and a progressive wing that is increasingly restless five months into the party’s control of Congress.
Whether he succeeds will have sweeping ramifications for not only President Biden’s agenda, with fights over a slew of policy goals in June and July and separate talks on infrastructure coming to a head, but also the party's message in the 2022 midterm elections. Schumer is up for reelection next year amid constant speculation about a potential progressive primary challenger.

I don’t think he will. Both he and Sinema could, on occasion pass for RINOs. With what is happening in Arizona, Sinema may have some reason to act a bit more sane if she wants to keep her job.
Manchin says it needs to be bipartisan, I believe they have 7 GOPe votes so he and Sinema can’t drag it across the finish line thus the comments from manchin as currently his vote won’t matter. My guess, they change one small irrelevant item in the bill and try to get one more RINO on board and then he and Sinema will vote yes on this destructive fraudulent bill.
Schumer is in real trouble. He either pleases the socialists and loses the Jewish vote, or he stands up for the Jews (American and Israeli) and loses the squad and their followers.
Nah.....wait......dumb New Yorkers will just automatically re-elect him.

Manchin has been absolute in his statements against killing the filibuster. If he caves on that now, he will be exposed as a total sellout. I could be wrong but I don’t think the red folks of WV will take that lightly.

Manchin & Sinema have been pretty constant on the reasons for keeping the filibuster ... they actually don’t want to see a dictatorship ... even a Democrat one
We all know the Democrats and their Big Media & Deep State backers are desperate to get rid of Trump, so they’re basically trying to eliminate the Republican Party
but IF these two were bribable, the deal would’ve been done by now - with trillions being tossed around, what’s a few more million to buy these two off? - and CNN would be crowing constantly about the “end of Trump”
Obviously that hasn’t happened yet ... CNN & the Dems are quiet, almost worried
Remember when Chuckie said “If we take Georgia we change the world” and when questioned about that changed it to “If we take Georgia we change the country”? He probably really meany the first one. The Biden administration appears to be leaning toward a global government. The Bush family is all in for that and supports Biden: “George Bush toasts Biden, urges Americans to ‘come together’”

It is. Manchin wrote a great editorial shooting down the Rat Election Fraud Bill and won’t budge on the filibuster either.

Sinema is turning out to be a skilled politician. I think she knows that if she holds the line on the filibuster and continues to support at least SOME control of illegal immigration, that she could be the senator from Arizona for decades.
I honestly don’t know who I’d vote for if, for example, Flake tried to run against her someday. Probably Sinema.
exactly! she plays both sides of the fence as suits her, not really about helping the public just keeping her job and whatever way she needs to swing to do that.
