U.S. officials at the time wanted Iran to agree to yield under the pressure of renewed sanctions to additional nuclear and foreign policy restrictions.
“It's inconsistent with what the foreign policy of the United States is, as directed by this president, and it's beyond inappropriate," Pompeo argued at the time.

Kerry was acting as part of a shadow government, against the elected President and the Government of the United States. If he were Republican, that would be considered treason.
Unbelievable (okay, actually very believable) that Democrats tried to string up the incoming Trump Administration for having preliminary foreign policy discussions with other countries after November 2016, but had absolutely no problem with an out of office John Kerry deliberately undermining the foreign policy of the sitting Trump Administration.
Just another of the many examples of the press and Democrats apppying two completely different standards of conduct.
Now, it's a big yawn for the Democrat Media, and not even an eye-blink when we're told that Press Secretary Ginger Gaslight doesn't discuss "leaked material"...

“Post Office” meetings? what the hell does this bs mean. Kerry was photographed meeting in Paris with senior Iranian leadership over... preserving the Iran nuke deal, and violating all kinds of the National Security laws by doing so— against the Trump Administration.
Photos- major restaurant in Paris and then saying good buy to the delegation and then walking down to his hotel in Paris. It’s him and there is no doubt. This was surveillance by our foreign intel people and some made it through to sources in the Q networking. Quite a bit of detail on this.
