The problem is a 1400 year old war of Muslims against Jews. The killer is a Syrian Muslim who went to a predominantly Jewish neighborhood just before Passover and opened fire on the store that advertised Kosher food for Passover. Outlawing guns won’t stop this hatred Muslims have against the Jews.
There are about 330 million people in the U.S. population, and many of the politicians are pushing to inject even more violent foreign cultures into the mix. News of crimes committed against unknown people come to us from distant places.
No one will eliminate all violence from the whole world, and efforts to do so are perpetrated by people trying to control others for entirely unrelated purposes.

Boulder’s problems that weren’t cause by firearms. There are an untold number of communities full of firearms that don’t have the same problems. Boulder has nothing to do with me or my people. It’s unhealthy for an individual to care much about what happens in faraway places each day.
