People open doors for her, pull out chairs at restaurants, refrain from cursing and telling dirty jokes in front of her, and refrain from scratching their crotches or shoving their tongues down her throat and grabbing her boobs without so much as a by-yer-leave-ma’am, not to mention giving up seats on mass transit. Men don’t get such consideration. We get challenged to fist fights and jumped outside of bars, sometimes over nothing, and sometimes over how we acted towards a woman.
