Senator Bernie Sanders said recently that he’s not “comfortable” with former President Trump’s Twitter ban, arguing it could lead suppression of users across the political spectrum.
The Vermont Independent found common ground with many Republicans who accused the social media network of left-leaning bias and political censorship after they banned Trump in the wake of the Jan. 6 attack US Capitol riot.
Sanders made the comments to New York Times columnist Ezra Klein Tuesday, after Trump aides announced the former president would soon return to social media with his own platform.

Sanders’ economic philosophy is stupid and ignorant, but he has always been totally independent minded and pretty much non-phony. He says what he means and means what he says and doesn’t care what anyone thinks.

No, they WANT that. They want all conservative, all Trump supporters to be off general social media, and to be siloed onto their own social media, where they can’t influence the public.
No communist means what he says, unless it’s about the revolution.
He also said we can’t afford to take in all the illegals. Guess commie Bernie isn’t sufficiently radical for the democrats.

Bernie comes from a different generation of leftists. While some wanted to crush all dissent once they got control of the institutions, others actually believed in free speech and open discussion and not just as a means to an end. But it’s extremely rare to find that in younger leftists. They can’t handle any disagreement. Dissenters must die. That’s what they believe.
