President Biden on Wednesday said “environmental justice” for people of color will be a central feature of his efforts to combat climate change, again putting skin color and racial justice front and center in his early policy and personnel decisions.
Mr. Biden’s early focus on what he calls “systemic racism and white supremacy” in America generated pushback from critics and scholars who say they don’t need a lecture from the commander-in-chief about the country’s racial history.
“It’s like the Great Society for identity politics,” said Mike Gonzalez, a member of former President Trump’s newly disbanded 1776 Commission. “It is very difficult to call your people racist and then turn around and say I want to unify you.”
One of Mr. Biden’s first acts in office was to abolish what he called the “offensive, counter-factual 1776 Commission” that Mr. Trump had set up to try to restore “patriotic education” at national parks and in schools across the country.

and Latin people are about 13%.
I suspect the Latin porting went up a massive amount in the last decade.

It was a paraphrasing of that classic quote from Germany about “they came for me and no one was left”.
Starting with Moslems. Then a big pix of Saint Floyd along with “they came for the AAs”. Then “immigrants”. Then the Jews. Etc.

Look at the age cohorts. White people are a much smaller fraction of the young, and that’s what matters going forward.
Too scared of the future, too scared of conflict, too guilty, too wedded to consumerism: why aren’t whites having enough babies? Too many people on the left and the right saying they won’t bring children into this world. And yet we were born to die, and we send our children into this world as soldiers, to fight what battles they must. Life was never easy or safe.

In a normal cultured society, white people or Americans in general would be in a state of mourning over this election, with the boycott that mourning involves for a few weeks in terms of fasting and restriction when a King dies in Africa.
Even Trump failed on the opportunity. He tried to be like more optimistic, have a party, or something. What should we say of Bush’s “keep shopping” after 911 if we have to go after Trump there?
So, yeah. There needs to be a sort of cultural revolution, but a true one, on the right. Not this fake drama of wailing that liberals do that amounts to temper tantrums replacing real culture, keeping them aculturated and slave to their party and politics.

I don’t think those percentages really matter.
What matters is that the, say, 20% of old ‘60s and ‘70s “activists” and “hippies who joined the mainstream” — including some very rich would-be oligarchs — aided and abetted by their Prozac’d, Adderalled and Ritalin’d kids and grandkids STOLE this election, in tandem with some fellow travelers overseas.
What this amounts to is a bunch of our own spoiled, entitled, now-gray-haired “activists” from 50 years ago trying to wrest control of the country before they die off, and incidentally trying to prove to their long-dead parents that they were “right” after all.
Blacks and Hispanics were warming to Trump in unprecedented numbers, which a count of the “real” vote would undoubtedly show.
In short, I think what pretty much is happening here is the now-rich and well-connected Che-and-Castro-worshipping “old Commies” of the Vietnam era are making their last stand.
If a person can identify as a female despite having a Y chromosome, why can’t I identify as a black Native American?
Problem solved.
Once we label folks with White Privilege it is just a small step to demonize them as White Supremacists
The majority of Hispanics self identify as “white”.
