I wouldn’t be surprised. Will be interesting to see the
census, if they stoop to let us see.
I definitely believe that is the case in the NYC metro area; Asian “scabs” (not replacing striking workers, but Americans being tossed aside) are all over northeastern NJ. The county on the NJ side of the George Washington Bridge added Korean to their official languages (for ballots, etc.) a few years back, and Asians are being trafficked here to fill the void as Americans flee the lack of job offers (not jobs, but offers).
Anyone interested in secondhand deals would do well here, Americans are selling their wares and toys as they flee. Reminds me of stories from Angola and Mozambique as the Portuguese fled as independence dawned (also happened in Algeria as the French evacuated). In many cases, what they couldn’t sell, they often burned/destroyed; no reason to leave gifts behind.
