President-elect Joe Biden greeted the passage Monday night of a massive, 6,000-page coronavirus relief and spending bill with calls for more spending on the pandemic in the new year.
The House and the Senate both passed the bill by overwhelming, veto-proof majorities after having just a few hours to read the voluminous text of the legislation. The bill provided $900 in coronavirus relief funding, including $300 for expanded federal unemployment benefits and $600 checks for households — half of the amounts provided by initial relief legislation earlier this year. But it also included $1.4 trillion to fund the rest of the government — including massive pork projects and pet causes of politicians on either side of the aisle.

But $600 can get you a 55gal drum of tar and 10lbs of feathers.

Much of that is not to fund our government but is foreign aid.

Our foreign aid must be reviewed by business types, plus military, and many more. Only Trump cut our NATO BS. We have supported Germany/defended them since 1945 plus Japan. Add S. Korea since 1945 plus many more. We seem to never be able to win a war and get the heck out for good. The league of Nations was trash and so is the UN. We pay more to every so called world organization then anyone else. All the H1-B’s plus you name it jobs to foreigners could be best filled by Americans taught in our own hi tech trade schools. Many of us here recall MS Dos PC’s the 80’s. We must pay this darn debt off and learn to live within our means.

I used to worry about deficits and the national debt.
But I gave up doing that a few years ago.
We’re in the “run it ‘til it blows” phase now.
That’s the Biden and the DC scam. They create, pass and orchestrate spending bills so they, themselves can loot the pools of money. Many in DC have become millionaires by doing this scam. Oversight? I surmise the watchers are all in on it.
Democrats are trying to INCREASE this CURRENT fiscal year spending. That is because through 30 September, the incurred deficit will be assigned to TRUMP. It is EXACTLY the same thing obama did in order to inflate Bush43's last deficit.
The purpose is to increase the baseline "inherited" deficit, making "cutting the deficit" an easy accomplishment.
6,000-page and Obamacare was only 2,000 pages this baby has more kickbacks then any bill the good old boy club ever passed.
