A poll released from the Pew Research Center shows that a large majority of Republicans believe the United States has handled the coronavirus pandemic well, claiming the threat is overblown.
Of those surveyed, 71 percent of Republicans are satisfied with how the United States has handled the outbreak and spread of coronavirus while only 10 percent of Democrats who took part in the survey agree. In total, 38 percent of American adults stated the United States handled the pandemic as well as it could have.

At the beginning, the idea of flattening the curve sorta kinda made sense. But we’re way past that. Curve flattened.
The lockdown, masks, etc. is all political theater. I will never see my mask wearing friends the same for the rest of my life. It’s permanently damaged those relationships.

The curve flattening was just the excuse to “prime the pump” of draconian shutdowns. It begged the question - when is it time to end it? Some governors have actually suggested the time to end it is when the virus is completely gone. Which, of course, is absurd.

I supported all this in early March 2020, when we didn’t have a good handle on what exactly we were facing.
By early to mid-April 2020, we had a good idea of what it was, but you would have had to read between the lines of the hysterical media to see that.
This crap should have ended back in April.

In the beginning I was more concerned about the hysteria surrounding this scamdemic. Now I’m disgusted with the way some “Americans” have surrendered their liberties to the power grab of leftist politicians. Not surprised. Let’s move on.

I figured it from the start.
My wife and others called me all kinds of names.
As the title said, I did what Atlas did, shrug and go about my life as usual.
Notice how Big Media quietly moved the goalposts to keep the hysteria going.
First the number of deaths was the issue ... but as soon as deaths started dropping, they changed to talking about “infections”.
There’s no more mention of deaths - anywhere - because people aren’t dying in big numbers. They’re just getting corona and not being impacted.
BTW notice Big Media rampant use of the word “infection” to make it sound more serious... nobody says they got “infected” by the flu, they just say they “had” it ... that’s all corona is now for most people, a flu-like virus that doesn’t affect most people’
But Big Media & the Dem politicians have their fear agenda to promote ... maybe we should ask why

Same here. From the start I said....you don’t quarantine healthy people. I went about my business. Flew to Vegas. Flew to Arkansas and went to Oklahoma and Kansas. Drove to Vegas numerous times. Back and forth to Ventura and my boat. Ate and drank at anywhere that was open. Just have lived life as usual.
