Florida this weekend President Donald Trump is said by his doctor to be making progress in his recovery from COVID-19 — and the president tweets that he's eager to get back on the trail.
TAMPA, Fla. (WFTS) -- It appears COVID-19 will no longer slow President Donald Trump's campaign trail.
President Trump said during an interview with FOX News' Sean Hannity that the president is hoping to hold a rally in Florida on Saturday night if his campaign team has enough time to put it together.
President Trump's push for a rally comes just days after he was hospitalized for coronavirus. The 74-year-old publicly announced his positive test result early Friday morning and was receiving care at Walter Reed hospital before being released Monday evening.
President Trump has not yet given any specifics on where and what time he'd like the rally to kick off this weekend.

I heard him cough several times in his last time at the mike....not happy.
I heard a very deep cough on one of his interviews. The last thing that PDJT needs is a coughing fit on tv, much less a relapse. No travel or rallies yet, Mr President.
People cough. He is on medication. Certain medications cause a cough.
Remember that the dems thought he should be dead. Now they are in an uproar because he coughs once in awhile.
Doc Holliday of the OK Coral shoot out coughed with great frequency. He died of TB after bringing civil order to Tombstone AZ.
It may be the same with President Trump’s karma, he may save the nation only to pass away.
But I support this wonderful maverick, unconditionally. And if Divine Providence takes him, then he will have saved our nation from the totalitarian left that aspires and connives to unlawfully rule us.

I hope that you are correct. Hearing President Trump cough that way, prompted a memory for me. My very healthy, for an octogenarian, mother once coughed a single deep-sounding cough like I heard from PDJT. It was so unusual sounding that I took note of it at the time. Within a few hours she was in the hospital with pneumonia. She recovered fully but she was not running for office.

Correct. Image is important. Coughing after Covid, even if it’s not serious and just an annoying lingering thing, would not portray strength. Appearances in rally situations could be counter productive.
I think he should avoid long rallies and take care of his feckless cabinet, crimes not being handled, etc.
I heard him on Hannity and he cleared his throat, not cough. Yahoo News is making a big friggin deal about it. People clear their throat a lot.
I coughed for a month after I had the flu. He is running a campaign, he cannot be like basement Joe and hide.
He has a very full media schedule today.

If his campaign can find a venue the media’s heads will explode. I’m pretty sure that if he announced where the rally would be three hours prior to the rally start, there would be the normal crowd of thousands. That’s a hypothetical since it takes more than three hours to setup the venue, i.e, stands, sound system, security, etc.
I hope he does not sound a bit congested like he did last evening on Hannity.
