Steve Scully, Biden's former intern and Ted Kennedy aide, won't get to moderate a debate now.
OH NO!
Will democracy survive??
the debates are FIXED.
VP Pence was most NOT allowed to defend himself,
although the “BLACK” woman Marxist was always
given extra time.
FIXED..
THEY ARE FIXED, and once again it was clear
the “BLACK” (read Indian Jamaican slave owning family)
Marxist was GIVEN the questions in advance
since she KNEW in advance the “next question”.
FIXED..
Is Michelle available?
It will all work out when Steve Scully is modulator for the CPD sponsored 90 minute Biden infomercial.
Trump is brilliant. He’s not going to participate and will have a rally instead, LOL!
The debates have become worthless except for debate junkies. End them all.
When I read the headline, I thought maybe Tara Reade was going to be a moderator.
Oh no! Now we won't get to find out how many times a day Joe Dementia sniffed his hair.
We should be 100% with Trump on this decision, what kind of idiot would knowingly walk into a massacre? First, they choose a Biden intern, Kennedy aide, which is a complete conflict of interest and should have never been even a consideration. If that isnt bad enough, the commission commiserates with the Biden team to go virtual.
Just like last night the moderator is writing a book about Pelosi. I assume she has authorization from Pelosi, who will give her interviews for the upcoming book. How biased can one be?
Suggestion... Host a debate with Trump live, let moderator prep questions and clips of relevant responses from Biden (the empty chair so-to-speak). Let everyone hear Biden's responses as he has opened his mouth on every point (often not making sense). It would make a great made-for-TV spectacle.
The whole point of a debate was to allow us poor voters to hear words from the candidates' mouth, unfiltered.
Today, that function has been replaced by the drone of paid advertisements in all sorts of media, not to mention the deluge of postal mail.
We don't need debates.
Remember, book deals are how the Left recruits and pays off their minions.
I might also add that these debates have become more like a "sporting event" as opposed to their original high-minded intentions to educate the voters on where the candidates stand on the issues of the day.
The notion that there are undecided people sitting at home with spiral notepads, checking the candidates off on this or that issue is ludicrous.
People at home already have a rooting interest, just as if it was a Yankees vs Red Sox game. They turn these debates on just to see how "their guy" does against the other guy. No minds are being changed here. They may be disappointed in the performance of "their guy" but they aren't changing their vote.
She also called Kamala by her first name. Telling.
I've been advocating that too.
A moderator shows clips or quotes Biden. The Pres. retorts.
Buy the time if necessary.
We don’t need debates.
Correct, for the reason stated (voters get the info they need via ads).
But there is a more important reason this farce needs to stop:
They are not debates - they are outrageous Leftist ambushes.
The ONLY reason a Republican ever needs to submit to these kangaroo court show trials, is so as not to appear afraid of facing his opponent!
That is not a strategy - that is extortion - pure and simple.
President Trump needs to break this cycle somehow - there has got to be a way of avoiding an ambush, yet not come off as afraid.
Personally, I think the President should agree to an in-person debate on the day scheduled - but at a venue of his choosing, and with moderators hand-picked by him.
The CPD will object - but it is a self-appointed commission with zero standing, and should be completely ignored.
Let Joe Biden be the one to chicken out.
