Former Rep. Beto ORourke (D-TX) said on Tuesdays broadcast out MSNBCs The ReidOut, that Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden can win Texas decisively enough for the results to be in on election night.
Anchor Joy Reid asked, Can Hegar and Biden close that gap, which you came real close to doing when you ran for Senate? Can that gap be closed in the short amount of time that we have left?

So, if Biden wins decisively enough on election night, it will be enough for him to be declared the winner. But we have been told for the past month if Trump wins decisively on election night, it can’t be called and we have to wait a week to call it.
Many here in Texas call him ‘Beta’ ... certainly not an ‘alpha’.

Sure, and Trump can win California too. But I wouldn't count on either happening.
That's what Beto said while running in his primary. He got less than 1 percent of the votes in the Democrat primary in Texas. Admittedly, he had already dropped out by then, though the other drop outs got well over half the votes and Sanders alone got 35 percent.
