CLEVELAND - Joe Biden’s campaign touted that it raised a record $3.8 million in fundraising during the 10 p.m. ET hour on Tuesday night as the former vice president and President Trump traded fire during an extremely combustible first of three presidential debates.
And the Biden campaign characterized Trump and “tired and angry” while Biden appeared “confidently smiling.”
“There was one leader on stage tonight and one liar,” charged Biden deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield.

That’s why I slept through this nonsense tonight. Debates don’t win or lose an election.

It was incredible to hear Biden confidently say:
we inherited a recession, I was charged with fixing it and I did and we gave a roaring economy to Trump and he ruined it.
How does this fit with “those jobs aren’t coming back”. It’s bizarre that the man stands up there and LIES and it’s so easily dis-proven - in fact most of us already know.
Beacause as long as Joe and Obama and their pals were flush with taxpayer money they could care less about John Q Public and his paltry cash flow they think you should be happy with one dollar and crumbs.

Biden got smoked and he knows it. He is losing almost every online poll.

Biden didn’t exceed any expectations other then the fact that he showed up. He was exposed as for raising taxes, refusing to answer if he would stack the SC, wanting to close the nation down again. He lost the debate
Biden only did well in that he was still standing. He was forced to admit that he wanted to raise taxes, shut the nation down again, wouldn’t deny that he would stack the SC, end the fossil fuel industry. He has been hiding out hoping that those positions wouldn’t be exposed, but they are now are.

Yep, and he said the Green New Deal will pay for itself! He forgot that was the line he was supposed to drop now that we are in the general. Biden is an idiot and that was fully on display. However while Trump's attacks were effective he can't get the milqtoast vote with those. He has to energize his base, and can't easily do that while being '"presidential".
I liked the fact that Trump was the same Trump we voted for. But I'm fully aware that he turns off other people including some on the fence.
I doubt it. What Trump is furious about is that the deep state is getting away with serious crimes. He made that case several times.
People know there was not a roaring economy when Trump came in. The only people who did not know that were Senile Joe and Wallace.
