Hashim (“Hash”) Mooppan has served as the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Civil Appellate since May 2017. In that time, Hash has personally handled twenty-five oral arguments, including en banc arguments in six different circuits, in some of the Department’s most important cases, such as defending challenges to the President’s travel suspensions, the rescission of DACA, the designation of an Acting Attorney General, and the President’s alleged acceptance of emoluments.
Previously, Hash was an Assistant to the Solicitor General from March to May of 2017, and, before that, he practiced for ten years in the Issues & Appeals group at Jones Day, where, among other things, he briefed the constitutional challenge to the Affordable Care Act and argued an antitrust state-action immunity case in the Supreme Court. Hash clerked on the Supreme Court for Justice Antonin Scalia and on the Fourth Circuit for Judge J. Michael Luttig; he is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School and was an Articles Editor on the Harvard Law Review.

But its now a little different ballgame as Sullivan has to consider the very real possibility of getting bitch slapped by the USSC. Powell said she would take it there.

Common sense vs. politics. The latter always prevails.

stating that the General screwed the DOJ (who framed him)
by not helping them after having been sentenced
corruptly by the DS-blackrobes, and
during the time he had opportunity to help.
Is Sullivan is painting the General into a corner?
When appealed court making the decision was made up of a majority of Judges appointed by Clinton and Obama.

They are giving him a chance to do the right thing. If he doesn’t dismiss he’ll be overturned unanimously.
