Graham heads the Judiciary Committee, but is losing Independents in South Carolina who have lost faith in him.
Graham needs something bold and drastic to rehabilitate his image at home, and this COULD be it, if he has the backbone to follow through.
McConnell runs the Senate and has been strong on judges, but he's now running a race at home.
I'd like to believe that these two can get it done, ramming through an appointment in the next 45 days the way that the Democrats would regardless of what the MSM says about it.
How fast will the Democrats gin up the riot machine if President Trump makes a nomination and McConnell and Graham move at light speed to get it done?

Yes 46 days before election. Don’t forget a lame duck Senate session voting on it if there is a control shift. McConnell is running for re-election also. I am thinking that any nominee starts with 50 votes. You can bet that Romney, Murkowski, and Collins will oppose. The defection of one Republican will doom any nominee.
Murkowski already said she won’t vote for a new nominee before inauguration and neither will Mittens. Not gonna happen.

Yes, I’m very obtuse. McConnell has already stated he won’t confirm any further justices until after the election. Hopefully I am wrong, but he’s let us down before many other times.
