Yes, I’m very obtuse. McConnell has already stated he won’t confirm any further justices until after the election. Hopefully I am wrong, but he’s let us down before many other times.

An interesting dynamic is that Graham is trending down with Independents in SC and needs a strong SCOTUS fight as head of the Judiciary Committee to win his state. The I's want to send him back, but they don't trust him.

He NEEDS this, and it will be interesting to see if McConnell lets him have it.

If McConnell says yes, Graham probably keeps his seat. If McConnell says no, Graham is probably gone.
