The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-eight percent (48%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 38% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 42% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -4.

This doesn’t square at all with the polls - including Rasmussen - that we keep seeing which claim Biden has a 5 point lead.
You approve of the job the current guy is doing so you’re gonna vote for the other guy? Makes no sense. Both of these polls may be, but one of them must necessarily be, WRONG.
An important thing to remember is that being one that disapproves does not mean you think Biden or Harris would be a better choice. It’s really hard to get rid of an incumbent president, even with lackluster performance. We learned that with Obama.
If 51% approve, and his base is fired up AT ALL, he can’t lose without MASSIVE voter fraud. It’s really that simple.
One thing about Trump is that he seems to know these negative stories will blow over in a week and give his opponents the opportunity to say something stupid

I can’t imagine GHWB’s numbers being like this at this time in 1992 (I know that that’s a good number of years ago now). Probably at that stage in time, there were that many who decided to stay home or vote Perot.
I’m not even going to read it. These polls are designed to rationalize a Biden win. If/when Biden wins, they can look refer to these “polls” and throw out the fraud accusations.
Those polls include the "secret sauce" of Communist party voter fraud of 50+ MILLION mail-In ballots.
As an aside, Judicial Watch is now warning of 80 MILLION mail-in ballots.
Scott Rasmussen sold Rasmussen Polling and now does his own poll. 2 separate polls.

Some people do like Trump, but have also bought into the left’s protection racket threats and implied promises that the mobs go away if Biden wins. Maybe Trump needs to focus on the coward vote more directly!

Did anyone ever come up with a reason why this poll went up for Trump right after the DNC (not too surprising), while going down right after the RNC (which was very surprising).
The Rasmussen daily tracking poll is NOT run by Scott Rasmussen. Scott does separate individual polls. That’s what I know.
Scott Rasmussen founded Rasmussen Reports, but left in 2013. Rasmussen Reports continues. Scott's polling is now done under the name Scott Rasmussen rather than Rasmussen Reports. Scott's polls have generally been more accurate than Rasmussen Reports' polls.
This one is Rasmussen Reports, correct, while the 5 point Biden lead is a separate polling organization.
