SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) Authorities were investigating Monday after deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department shot and killed a man in South Los Angeles.
According to the sheriffs department, the man was riding a bike when deputies tried to stop him for code violations related to his bike riding. Deputies lost the man when he ran from the scene, but were later able to catch up to him where they said a fight ensued near West 109th Place and Budlong Avenue at about 3:30 p.m.
During the fight, deputies said the man punched one of them and dropped the clothes he was holding in his hand which were concealing a black handgun, prompting both deputies to fire their weapons.
The man was shot several times, though it was not immediately clear where on his body he was shot.
Riding a bike with a gun concealed? Yeah, time to kill people and burn more stuff down
People should learn to comply with LE, the life you save may be your own.
One of the “usual” suspects I’m sure.
“dropped the clothes he was holding in his hand which were concealing a black handgun, prompting both deputies to fire their weapons.”
So the left will say ... see he dropped the gun so the police shot an unarmed man.
What? You mean he didn’t even shoot at them or hit them with a skateboard?
this is the edited video going around twitter

“Here we go again. The original stop was for a code violation while the perp was riding his bike.”
It’s immaterial how it all started, it’s how it ends that counts. It ended with a man who was running and assaulted a Cop, and had a handgun hidden under clothes that he dropped, thus exposing the gun and his evil intent. Bingo. Time to die or risk being dead yourself. Game over.
Or the left will say he was mostly unarmed.
I know that, you know that and even they know that; but that is the bullstuff they will spew.
It would be interesting to know which bike riding code he violated. I honestly did not know there was a bike riding code.
Now that I know, Im sure my friends and I mustve broke every one of them when we were kids!
Always in deep blue cities.
As I recall when I was living there, it’s a code violation to ride on the sidewalk - I could be wrong but they have all types of laws relating to traffic in CA. They sometimes ticket jaywalking etc.

There are so many laws, weve both probably broken the law several times today each.
Another headline, for this same story, claims the bicycle man was armed.

How do they ‘get there ASAP??
Who transports these peaceful protesters, to these different locations that pop up?
Funny thing is I grew up and live in CA. While I do know they probably have code on bicycles, I surely do not know what they are. And you are probably correct about sidewalk riding. If so when we were kids we violated the crap outta that one haha.
