Ive been very lucky in my life to meet some really interesting, smart, and nice famous people. It wasnt their fame that made them any of the other things, and a lot of the famous people Ive met were literally none of those other things, but a few were all of them and more. One such person was Christopher Hitchens, who became a friend in the final years of his life. Another such person is Tucker Carlson. Thats why I cant sit by silently while progressive fascists try, yet again, to destroy him.
These modern fascists are Democrats, ideological brethren of the fascists of Europe in the 30s, and Tuckers sin is refusing to obey; refusing to bend the knee and submit to the progressive mob.
Everyone knows of the history of fascist hatred and scapegoating of minorities, but their rage was not limited to small groups. Gangs of goons demanded absolute subservience or else. There was no agree to disagree with the progressive fascists of the 20th century. Francisco Franco didnt leave alone the Spanish who dissented, nor did Benito Mussolini in Italy, and we all know the history of Germany. It was submit or be destroyed; conform or be punished.
The current Democratic Party mob terrorizing parts of the country has the same philosophy. One thing Tucker will not do is conform.
I first met Tucker at a party at the home of Hitchens in 2008, where I had no business being. I was easily the biggest nobody there, by a lot. Id heard of everyone else there, my date had barely heard of me. Yet Tucker talked with me for longer than he needed to, longer than I would have considering who else was in the room, and agreed to come on a podcast Id started with a friend when he had zero reason to.
After we recorded that podcast, we started talking about things post-election. He had an idea for a website and I had some ideas on the subject too. A few weeks later, he invited me to meet for breakfast with his high school friend, Neil Patel. Seemed weird, but I went. I remember walking out thinking that it felt a lot like a job interview, then quickly moved on. A couple of weeks later, there was another breakfast, then a phone call with a job offer. I took it. I was the first person theyd hired for a website that, while still more than a year away from launching and after we brainstormed a bunch of awful names, became the Daily Caller.
I left, came back, left again, but Tucker was always welcoming, no matter the circumstance of any of it. For the last 12 years, we have remained in touch with calls, texts, and birthday wishes and Christmas cards, etc. Hes been the same person the whole time when he sold a car to pay our salaries, to now when hes the king of cable news. Little known fact: if you text Tucker during his show about something said on it, hell text you back during the commercials.
And those commercials are why Im writing this today in the context of fascist conformity. Theyre coming for him, again. Theyve hated him from the beginning because they hate Fox News, waiting for any opportunity to harass companies that advertise on his show.
Tuckers words have been twisted, taken out of context, and bastardized beyond recognition and the angry mob hasnt gotten so much as an apology. Now theyve reached back into their bag of tricks and done it again.
Of Tucker's seven-minute-and-forty-four-second monologue, digital Brownshirts circulated a sixteen-second clip to claim Tucker was condoning the murder of rioters in Wisconsin. Its the old leftist tactic to destroy those who tell an inconvenient truth if Democrat mayors and governors order police to stand by while people are attacked and businesses destroyed, average citizens will stand up in their place.
For that, his advertisers have been targeted, with some caving immediately. The spineless Gabi, a sort of Travelocity for car insurance, and Grayscale bailed based on that sixteen-second clip.
But Tucker has something these fascists cant defeat millions upon millions of viewers and supporters. Fox News, unlike most garbage channels out there, is in a unique position in that it's a channel TV providers desperately want to carry because they know their customers will switch to one that does if they wont. That means Fox can charge what are called carriage fees from those providers. This makes up a huge percentage of their revenue. While no one wants to lose advertising revenue, Fox isnt dependent on it like others.
When companies are confronted by the liberal mob, CEOs with more content in the back of their underpants from last nights dinner being scared out of them than the front from nature, cave and leave, but get replaced, often by competitors. Financially, its barely noticed by Fox.
This attempt to ruin Tucker will fail like the others because its based on lies, like the others. But its an important lesson to learn. The modern Democratic Party demands conformity of thought and will harass and terrorize anyone refusing to get in line. The only difference between the current progressive left and the progressive left of the last century is the current one isnt speaking Italian, Spanish, or German -- theyre using social media.

It’s so much more than this though. Tucker is somewhat of a phenomenon to many who watch his show. He is absolutely fearless and will not hesitate to go to the places others dare not tread. And he takes his 4 million+ viewers with him on that trip. And while folks like Hannity get their numbers walking a fine line with people like Fauci and Lindsay, Tucker has recorded the highest rated program in cable news history while calling Fauci a straight up fraud and calling for Graham to be primaried for his complacency on investigating Russiagate. The very next night he’ll have someone like Aaron Mate’ or Jimmy Dore on to attack neo-liberals from their left. Seriously, I have heard Rush play a clip from his show during the day, and then that night Jimmy Dore post a video praising him for exposing neo-liberal positions on the Middle East. He is INCREDIBLY effective, therefore he is incredibly dangerous to them.

Tucker says what all of us are already thinking. Not the other way around tho. Thats why we appreciate him so much, he represents his viewers.
God Bless Tucker, the question is if they manage to get him silenced what will we do?
If Tucker ever moves to OAN, their ratings will skyrocket. And Tucker's ratings will lift other OAN programs too.
Just saying.
I knew this was going to happen. I just bought his latest book, to show him support. It’s going to get worse - it’s election season and the left is insane and desperate.
Watch him on youtube.
# me too, I stand with tucker

OAN says “Hello”.
See post # 6.
We'll probably just get in the boxcar with him.
My TiVo records Tucker every night just in case Im not home to watch. I looked up Tuckers background. Very interesting guy. Hope he has security & I think he should continue to avoid DC & NYC.
Democrats are evil...
i have been catching random tucker monologues and they are unbelievably great. every time i think a tucker monologue cannot be topped, he comes out with another that to me seems even better and more relevant to current events. i am very thankful for tucker every day he is on fox news and doing his thing.
Later
Tucker is elevating himself to the top rung of the media ladder.
Tucker is a blessing. I don’t know if he writes his monologues or with a team but he comes out with brilliant points. And there is such common sense surrounding the brilliancy. During the crisis he reach a new level of observation and it was moving, accurate and almost depressing to hear nightly. I almost had to stop watching him because of the depressing pictures and news. My consolation was thinking that Tucker can be wrong sometimes (he thought Joe Biden was finished early on and wrong with Susan Rice being VP) so I thought he could be wrong on the riots and it’s not as bad as he portrays. Its not as if the rioters are all of America, not even half of America, not even a quarter of America, no t even... But overall he is right on a lot of things and I just wish there would sometimes have more positive stories to balance things out.
Refusing to bend the knee and submit to the progressive mob.
A lot of that going around now days they have become the dog that chases cars.
Very, very bad analogy. Franco saved Spain from becoming a Soviet puppet state, and their "Republicans" were massacring Catholics. Franco was on the side of God.
