Jimmy Carter gave an off-camera endorsement to Joe Biden at the Democratic National Convention last night, 44 years after he himself first accepted the nomination.
The former president, 95, said Biden has the 'experience, character and decency to bring us together' and hailed him as 'the right person for this moment in our nation's history' on the night that Biden was formally chosen as the Democratic nominee.
Biden, 77, was already on Capitol Hill during Carter's presidential term from 1977 to 1981 and the 39th president described him as 'my first and most effective supporter in the Senate' when he ran for the White House.

Yes, I wondered about that. He and Rosalyn did voice overs and did not appear on camera. I wondered why someone decided they should not be seen.

An off camera endorsement to a candidate who will play s recorded acceptance speech. It’s all so very not life-like.
Probably prerecorded an rehearsed. Nothing about this party is real.
It makes me wonder if Jimmy is in such sad shape that he would not appear on camera.

I guess that since Carter taught Sunday school, it’s all good.
Demorats have nothing left but to parade a line of the good old boys club while each one can only use derogatory names against the Pres and his administration.....because they can’t deny his policies and what the past 4 yrs he’s accomplished what none of them could.......the jealousy is thick!
