The Coming Middle-American Resistance
Chronicles Magazine ^ | August 10, 2020 | Wayne Allensworth

President Trump has taken significant criticism for his recent comments on low-income government housing from a speech in Texas late last month:

You know the suburbs, people fight all of their lives to get into the suburbs and have a beautiful home… There will be no more low-income housing forced into the suburbs.… It’s been going on for years. I’ve seen conflict for years. It’s been hell for suburbia.

These comments speak to the current state and local dynamic. Americans, in the past, would move to rural or suburban areas in order to separate from hostile persons, be near those more like themselves, and protect their rights. However, this time-honored American tradition is now threatened by the anti-America forces. For a glimpse into America’s post-2020 future, look no further than the Old Dominion.

Virginia has been turned blue, as demographic replacement of actual Virginians continues apace. Your correspondent was once a resident of Loudoun County, Virginia, historically known as the heart of “Mosby’s Confederacy,” the stomping grounds of John S. Mosby’s partisan Confederate Calvary during the Late Unpleasantness. I can testify to the astonishingly rapid transformation of one of America’s most beautiful counties in the last 20 years, as Loudoun was paved over and demographically reshaped, a transformation driven by mass immigration. During my last visit there a few years ago, much of the county was unrecognizable, and Loudon is now irrevocably “blue.” Indeed, nowadays one can conduct an internet search for “the best mosques in Loudoun County” and get an answer.

Support for the demographic inundation of our homeland by foreigners—the more exotic, the better—is the core element of a naked power grab by a political and economic establishment hell-bent on nullifying the electoral power of Middle America.

"In this battle, rural Virginia may gain allies in the suburbs. In the weeks following their electoral victory, the looney left in the Virginia State Assembly was feeling its oats and considering flexing its muscles through proposals that would override local zoning laws and “bring high density housing, including public housing, to every neighborhood statewide—whether residents want it or not,” as the Daily Caller reported at the time. Supporters of such legislation in the Virginia State Assembly made it plain that “upzoning” was necessary since, “Suburbs are bastions of segregation and elitism.” Abolishing “low density neighborhoods,” we were told, is necessary for “equity.”

The message to Middle American suburbanites was clear: you can run, but you can’t hide. And soon enough, you won’t be able to run, either. COVID-19 put “upzoning” on the backburner, but if the reaction to Trump’s recent comments prove anything it is that Anti-America still wants it."

Ethnicity need not mean preordained voting patterns, but my suburban corner of Upstate South Carolina has drastically changed in the last 16 years. It may be to late for a resurgence of Middle America.

This author is right on the mark.

I can attest to how this has been going on for years. I volunteered someone years ago to be on my former township's planning committee. I went ape schiff in a meeting over rezoning that had to occur to allow section 8 housing. I emphatically stated that it would bring crime and increase demand on our police and eventually raise taxes. Then there was another meeting on how "we" could talk the transit authority in nearby Harrisburg to add routes to our township. It was suggested it was a "green" alternative and good for people who couldn't afford to commute to Harrisburg. These were Republicans in the meeting. I explained that buses travel in two directions and the ones coming from the city would bring crime. I also stated that as a taxpayer I had no interest in subsidizing someone's commute. If people can't afford to live in our township then perhaps they had no business living there. This of course was not well received. But crime is up there.

There's a mall in the the neighborhooding township, borough actually, and the bus service goes through there. It used to be a nice mall. It's a hell hole now. After the locals in Harrisburg destroyed their mall and chased all the businesses away, they now travel across the river where they have no business being. They are now destroying another mall. It's not even nice to go there. It is polluted with Mooslims and so-called people of color.

Bottom line. The federal government has no business dictating forced association. It negates our right to free association.

Middle America in the suburbs are an ethnically diverse community that works and they dont like this and continue thier narrative that its full of white privileged, white supremacists racists. This diverse group fought to get there and they will defend it

“I went ape schiff in a meeting over rezoning that had to occur to allow section 8 housing.”

They tried to do this when I lived in liberal Bethesda, MD. Libs and I went nuts. Didn’t happen cuz it was a lib area already. (It would have been right across the street from my house!)

Northern VA seemed to turn when it became a sanctuary area. Fraud voters for freebies.

I attribute NoVa's turn to three things. I watched it happen starting back in the 90's when I did consulting work in Reston, Herdon and Dulles. First thing was an influx of H1B Visa types, fueled by the likes of AOL and other high tech companies. Second was all the urban planning and mixed housing, by mixed I mean poor folk living next to middle class folk. Of course, rich people wouldn't allow that happed to them. Third, was the massive expansion of government. I suppose there is a fourth that I could tack on that I saw in places like Fairfax City. There was a huge migration on illegals. It moved like the plague out towards Leesburg by the time I stopped working in that area.

Virginia is a loser because of the swamp

Maryland is long gone. Baltimore is a hell hole

Witness Ralph northern A. Complete whack. His comments on life were the heart of PURE EVIL. spoken with disdain

And then what? Pictures of him surface in black face

Did any of these scumbags even get any calls for resignation from their side at all ? even weak calls? No of course not

We are in a war with these people - nothing more , nothing less

it is not a shooting war For now.

but it is a war

we must fight it like it’s a war

Donald Trump , our great President fights it like it’s a war !!

we must fight it that way !! not be nice - !!

use the law ! prosecute these people ! we must go after them tooth and nail day in and day out - until they are utterly and completely eviscerated

I grew up nearby in Arlington when it was still America. And largely conservative due to the large number of military stationed st the Pentagon. So sad what has happened to NoVa.

Communism is being equal; Americanism is not wanting to be like everyone else and having pride in that fact.

People need to really understand what Communism is and that the liberal left Democrat party is pushing and selling Communism. The Democrats are the New Communist Party.
