COLUMBIA — South Carolina’s 2020 U.S. Senate race is neck-and-neck with just three months to go until Election Day, as Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison’s well-funded campaign appears to have significantly narrowed the gap against Republican incumbent Lindsey Graham, according to a new poll released Tuesday.

In theory, but incumbent senators don’t lose very often. If Ds get a hold of that seat, 1) Even if Trump wins less likely to get judges through 2) A better than 50/50 chance the incumbent wins again in 6 years and you have a fully D seat for 12+ years. Graham isn’t reliable but he’s been a lot better the last 2 years than others that hated Trump (MirCOW, Romney, etc) and he’s going to be a lot better than any Democrat.

How many could we have had if they had really pulled out the stops?

All appellate court vacancies have been filled. So, that is the one issue that McConnell and the Senate have done an excellent job on.
