COLUMBIA — South Carolina’s 2020 U.S. Senate race is neck-and-neck with just three months to go until Election Day, as Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison’s well-funded campaign appears to have significantly narrowed the gap against Republican incumbent Lindsey Graham, according to a new poll released Tuesday.
Graham led Harrison by just a single percentage point, 44 percent to 43 percent, in the poll conducted by data intelligence firm Morning Consult, well within the survey’s 3.5 percent margin of error.

Unless red states send their house members who won and the blue states are still in turmoil and still don’t know who won, our members get to vote while the blue state seats are empty

Either way this move is unprecedented. It is also unprecedented to change the rules of an election for that election cycle.

Inconclusive federal elections would leave Senate 33-30 in favor of Dems. Patrick Leahy acting prez. The Senate would choose VP, who would eventually be prez.
Fortunately, these are almost impossible hypotheticals. But Dems might use a court strategy to make elections inconclusive.
Graham’s ONLY value is that “R” attached to his name. Otherwise, he is a Deep State weasel not to be trusted. Talks a good conservative game but when it comes time to act he heads for the tall grass.
That’s what you get when you try to play both sides, you get squashed from both directions. Choose Trump Lindsay my boy, or face the consequences.
He gets judges approved in the Senate and that gives him tremendous value.
The time to get rid of Graham was in the primary, not in the general.

This is nonsense. A lot of SC conservatives may not like Lindsey very much, but they will never support Chuck Schumer for Senate Majority Leader, which is what a vote for Harrison (or staying home) would be.
Sure he does, he reinstituted the pink slip rule that lets dims hold up any selection without even a debate. Grassley had set that rule aside.
How many weeks have you seen go by without a single judge approved?
It's a been a while. But, overall, the Senate has gotten almost as many appeals court judges approved during Trump's Presidency as were approved in two terms under Obama.
The bottom line is, conservative can't afford to see him or Susan Collins lose. It would be disaster if Democrats took back the Senate.
The time to defeat someone like Graham is in the primaries.
That is not the measure we should be concerned about. How many could we have had if they had really pulled out the stops?
Yes Graham is much better than a Lib marxist, and must be returned, but we can still be disappointed in his performance. Most here won't remember what brought Linda to prominence, but I certainly do.
A Graham loss now may be a long term win for freedom.
