While many in the media feed off polls showing Democratic challenger Joe Biden poised for a blowout election victory, the third survey this week showed the race much closer, with just 4 points dividing the candidates.
The just-released Emerson College poll showed Biden at 50% and President Trump at 46%. The survey of 964 likely voters has a plus or minus 3.1 percentage point rating of accuracy.
And, it added, “A majority of voters, 53%, still think Trump will be reelected in November.”
It was the third poll this week to show a narrow election.

One of the more shocking things I have discovered is that there are some voters who vote for the one they think will win. I have wondered what percent of the voters are like that. I think they have a mental/emotional deficiency and should be barred from voting.
Because blue voters are moving into the state in droves, particularly the Raleigh area. They voted out a great republican governor and got the crappy dem one, too.
Before covid, the more common thought with the columnists was that Trump would lose the popular vote again and win an electoral college victory. While that works, I think Trump really needs a popular vote victory. It will enhance his legacy and add legitimacy to his election. The libs can't whine as much if he wins the popular vote, too.
I think he can do it. While he won't win Cali, hopefully there will enough backlash to the current state of things in Cali, that he can cut his deficit in half in Cali. We'll see.

Plugs is sure to win CA...NY...MA...MD...IL...and some others...by wider margins than ILLary's margins.But just as it matters not that the Seahawks gained more total yards in the Superbowl than did New England the margin by which Trump loses Kalifornia means less than nothing.
THAT is EXACTLY what I am afraid of happening this year. The Dem’s will not make the same mistake twice in assuming a sure thing win. They will make it happen by hook or crook and there is seriously nothing to stop them. Definitely not our DOJ
Biden leads by 9 points in the national ballot and by 3 points in the battleground (48% to 45%). While the battleground ballot has tightened, Biden continues to lead across each battleground state. ................. You would never know it it my area of FLA, its flooded with trump flags.
