I think there’s a chance for both, if the Republicans did something. The Dem politicians have failed miserably and sided with the mob. If the Republicans called them out, they’d get the House and Senate too.

This is my fear as well. If it turns out this way, the dems will absolutely feel that they have the political capital to move ahead with impeachment 2.0, with a conviction in the senate the next time around.

I hate to say it, but I would rather see a questionable biden victory than Trump having a 2nd term with the dems controlling both the house and senate. President Trump does not deserve to go out as the first president to be removed from office via impeachment, even though we all know it will be a sham.

Trump had coat tails in 2016. He gained Senate seats in 2018, and lost the House by a thin margin, despite multiple retirements by senior Congressmen. If he wins a landslide victory in 2020, it will sweep in majorities in both houses.

I’m hoping trump can drag Collins, Danes, Gardner, and the senator from Arizona across the finish line. I know they don’t deserve it but we need numbers.
