“Surely” the codes and ordinances have been checked and painting streets is an “approved activity,” right? Joe Citizen, wanting to get a variance on private property likely has weeks or months waiting for the approval by the city council or responsible agency.
Drivers, whose lane markings and other DOT approved signage are now obscured, should sue, sue, sue, both the Mayor in his official capacity and also as a private citizen. Same for the city council.

BLM is a political entity and slogan. It has little to do if anything with general diversity, and by the City painting such, they are creating a hostile work place, thereby diminishing the status of other races. If anything NYC employees, particularly cops should file an EEOC discrimination complaint against NYC. same goes for DC and anywhere else. Start using the same tactics libs use against the nation.
