I’m done with the NFL.

They can play Kanye before every game if they want, I won’t be watching.

Omygosh. It would be hilarious if this blew up in Goodell's face. Bigly.

Get out in front of it, Roger. Say you've changed your mind and you'll play, "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five instead.

Who cares about the original intent? It’s being used now as a tool to divide people. Just say no to the anti-American NFL.

Watch this from the Conservative Twins (Hodge Twins)
They remind me of black men I worked with back in the 70's, at both blue and white collar jobs - before all the Jackson/Sharpton race baiters took over - friendly, funny, outgoing. We had Christmas parties together and the like. They will likely be shunned and doxxed by the commies.
They said "Go back to Africa". Bears repeating, but no free stuff will be available in the motherland.

This is a fine song. It is hymn #339 in the Presbyterian Hymnal, but they do not reveal in the footnotes that the man who wrote it was black. It was originally written as a poem, and then the author’s brother wrote the music.

It is a hymn to G-d almighty and I think if the NFL gets everyone singing a hymn before the game that is all to the good.

Who cares what they used to be? They are one with the Left now and pushing propaganda on weak minds. There is no reason to support the anti-American fools at the NFL. They’ve joined the enemies of humanity and must be resisted. Sad that some can’t give up their habit even when the future of the country is at stake.

“...bag-pipers and drummers played “Amazing Grace” and the entire stadium sang along...”

Very cool!

Spread that information far and wide and they’ll drop that idea like an overripe watermelon.

Trump should endorse it, say why, and watch their heads explode. Kaepernick and BLM will be forced to denounce the song as racist.

Bummer...since I no longer watch the NFL due to Colingate, I will miss it. /s

Is the NFL going to put the “Black National Anthem” on an even standing with “The Star Spangled Banner”?

Although it is a beautiful song, it is not our national anthem. We do not have a “White National Anthem,” neither should we have a “Black National Anthem.” E pluribus unum.

There is only one national anthem, to promote or claim any other stands against the nation itself. To say that the song is a “black National Anthem” is a lie and an insult to the actual song as well as telling Blacks that the Star Spangled Banner is not theirs when it is.

Divisive A$$holes are doing this. Its by design. It is to engineer division. Stop giving it oxygen.

Years ago someone here on FR suggested the theme from Peter Gunn should be the national anthem.

I looked at the lyrics and listened to several versions yesterday. It’s a traditional hymn, but maybe a bit long before a football game. I like the last verse, as it is a prayer of gratitude for “our native land” and a prayer to stay with God even though things have gotten easier.

If people really reflected on it, it could be pro God and country like the Battle Hymn of the Republic. It could backfire on Godless, Marxist BLM leaders big time. If.....
