Do you remember the Lady Freeper who kept records of every event and factual discussions here on site? She was the go to Freeper for any FR info. She had volumes of information.
I agree about motivating the younger FR patriots. How do you suggest we motivate their interest?
However, I'm suggesting a Free Republic sponsored movement because the name is well known. Any ideas for an new title/acronym? I started back when with FAN (Free Action Network). It didn't take off, but then came along Free Republic Network. A Freeper named Bob J organized/coordinated it with many successful events and gatherings. He has been long gone, but might find his info in my files.

I believe that to be a very good idea. Unfortunately, I won't have the time while organizing my local chapter and being a central point of contact for other forming chapters. Feel free to move forward with that if you have the time. It could be its own thread put on the side bar under "activism".
I’ve followed Oregon’s ping list for years and it’s always been interesting. Wait let me find the pinger, he/she may have some thoughts on organizing the state boards too. Can’t hurt to ask.

Yes I am, thank you. Do you know if she is still active? Were you ever in contact with her? If anyone has a list of past/current FR chapters, it would be her. She was quite the resource for anything Free Republic. I never knew her, but always admired her time and effort.

WV is surrounded by Tenn, KY, Ohio and VA and it’s a tourist’s dream. I worked for justice through Clinton’s mess. I went to the 13 House members gathering and dinner in D.C. Some female Freepers gathered a group who met in Ohio a couple of times. We worked for Bush (sorry about that) was elected and things died down. I think everyone in the U.S. was afraid to go public with their anger and opinions when the African won. Trump was the one we had been waiting for so we haven’t reformed. We had a local Tea Party of Republicans who worked for more local issues. I think we were successful in turning WV Republican. If there is an interest in forming a Freeper group, I’m in, if it’s close enough and I remain mobile.
He may have been a nebbish in the end, but he was a lot better than the stiff the Democrats put up in 2000! Although, if Algore had stolen the election, we might not have had to deal with Obama-lama-ding-dong.
Sorry, I don’t think one will work for most Freepers. Thank you.
