Heck, even Delaware is more sane than New Jersey.

Consider a conservative leaning state or one without an income tax. Ideally, combine them.

You never want to encourage 47% of a population to grow state government because the other 53% are the only ones paying the tax to support it. Too many from the 53% will gladly vote for the candidate that the 47% want, leaving you in the sad position of being governed by all the wrong people.

It was called the "March For Justice"

I brought two full buses from PA to the event. The late, great Doctor Raoul was with us. We were all younger, including Matt Drudge & Ann Coulter who were both there. A truly great time.

SCOTUS take: No, it’s not illegal to refrain from buying something, but you might owe some tax for not doing it.

I am gradually making my move, but unfortunately may not make it out before November. Likely Arizona or Texas or Idaho. Yes, being in the Northeast the cold is never my biggest problem.

Has it really been 22 years since I discovered FR? How the time flies by.

Good thread !

I was relatively active in the DC chapter before moving north, but have no idea who, if anyone, is still in the area.

As long as this thread is up, I'll tag on. Anyone in west central Ohio? Sidney? Troy? Piqua?

Something to consider, although it may be a bit tedious...

If you temporarily change your flag to each state one by one, you can go to their local state boards and post a message. This message will be seen by everyone who is also flagged to that state but might otherwise miss this thread.

In it, you can ask people to PM you, or you can direct them to this thread for further discussion.

This way, you might reach more people who casually log in. They will see their state board message if they are similarly flagged.

Time does indeed fly by! I found FR in the days of 911 -this and KSEV radio station in Houston were what kept me sane in those days!

I am looking for a motivated group in Central Texas. I am not above starting a Chapter...but group leadership is not my forte...
