A group of evangelical pastors gathered at Seattle's CHOP zone earlier this week to pray and declare that they will defend houses of worship and statues of Jesus after activists called for tearing them down amid Black Lives Matter protests.
Brian Gibson, founder of the Peaceably Gather movement and pastor of His Church, denounced Shaun King's call to remove "white Jesus" statues and other activists trying to remove Christian symbols and monuments in a movement that began with hatred and vandalism toward Confederate statues.
"The call from Black Lives Matters leaders to destroy images of Christ and deface houses of worship is nothing less than a terroristic threat to people of faith," Gibson told Fox News.
"Christians across America must stand against this violent religious discrimination and stand to protect sacred ground," the megachurch pastor added. "This threat particularly targets the Catholic Church, and every Christian, despite denomination, and every person of the Good Book, should stand together in unity against this evil."

Really? While some of them wear “I can’t breath” tshirts. Not buying it.
No, no! You misunderstand! Shaun King just wants to right a past wrong! He wishes, demands actually, to dictate the symbols, images, icons, dogma and doctrine of Christian Churches. Other than that, nothing will change! You guys are such alarmists!
Christianity will be under assault next...as if it's not already.
Those are probably the Unitarian Universalists. The Unitarians in my town are hard core leftists supporting BLM terrorists
ICB and targeting churches are too different things.
And I only see one ICB shirt.
Cammo. (j/k)
I have a friend who’s retired from the LA Police Dept, worked the VICE Dept. Long hair, scraggy beard, street cloths. He told me when you work the underbelly of the city, clean shaven, short hair, crisp suit doesn’t cut it 95% of the time. You don’t look like you belong. He considered a lot of his job acting. Looking the part, figuring out the game, getting into the game to get the intel. Constant street chess.
He got 25 years in and had a very close call and decided it was time to step away while he could still live to enjoy a retirement. Can’t blame him.
Good for them. It’s good to see someone standing up for churches and trying to bring about positive change. I’m a lot more comfortable with these pastors taking a leadership role than BLM.
For those upset about the “I can’t breathe” shirt, that’s not a BLM shirt. There’s a difference. I think most of us support the right of people to protest Floyd’s death but reject the Marxist BLM movement. The church is in a unique position to bridge the gap.
[ Christianity will be under assault next...as if it’s not already. ]
Already has been, especially since the reign of the Lying Kenyan.
Remember, the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field.
Remember when he said (to the effect) “We are no longer a Christian nation”? He just wanted to further the decline.
And did so in many other ways, too.
Wasn’t Jesus a JEW?
So, do we have antisemitic activity, or
anti-male, or ?????
Sorry, there is no logic here. Can’t argue.
It says in the article that they are standing AGAINST the BLM’s demand to tear down Jesus. They are obviously opposing BLM. That’s the point of the article.
Cultural Revolution II
They way they all rolled-over and allowed governors so shut-down their churches, I doubt it.
The real Jesus will put down all of the rebellion at the end of the 7-year peace deal.
The spirit of antichrist is strong in the Democrats and their terrorist operatives, though.
When they march in the streets in their homosexual pride parades, they are shouting open rebellion to God. Nothing short of that.
Maybe their pretty balloons will save them. Or not.
If they should repent and call upon His Name before that, then they have hope.
My fear is, Shaun King will eat a bullet before this is over, and he’ll by martyred by the media. Afterwards, I don’t care if he’s given a flaming tire necktie.
“The spirit of antichrist is strong in the Democrats”
Very true. I often try figure out how the Antichrist would get control of the world. Watching events around me I know understand what my father warn me about when I was a child. My father was an Evangelists he travel all over trying to warn the world.
Bible believing Christians are a minority now. I will stand for my beliefs and will not back down. My eyes are open and I see darkness coming our way.
May God keep them safe and make them successful in their efforts to thwart the evil that is so very apparent.
