I have a friend who’s retired from the LA Police Dept, worked the VICE Dept. Long hair, scraggy beard, street cloths. He told me when you work the underbelly of the city, clean shaven, short hair, crisp suit doesn’t cut it 95% of the time. You don’t look like you belong. He considered a lot of his job acting. Looking the part, figuring out the game, getting into the game to get the intel. Constant street chess.
He got 25 years in and had a very close call and decided it was time to step away while he could still live to enjoy a retirement. Can’t blame him.
It sure looks like a church group to me and not a bunch of appeasers.
Just look at the love in their eyes, the bibles they are holding, and the clothes they are wearing. I bet they will be singing hymns at any moment.
