If it were a real tweet from AOC what different would it make to the voters in her district and what impact would it have on her reelection to office?

The reason I checked it out is that is was not believable that a congressperson (even AOC) who at least makes a show of caring for their constituents would want to harm them just to defeat Trump.

AOC is very popular because people believe she represents their interests more than other politicians who have represented them. Obviously if she were really actively courting a depression her election prospects would diminish. That's why someone made this fake tweet. Some people are OK with lying if it pushes things in the direction they want to go.
