The University of Michigan will withdraw from hosting one of the 2020 presidential debates this fall, a report said Monday.
The university was scheduled to host the second of three debates between President Trump and presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden on October 15.
“U-M is making the move because of concerns of bringing the campaigns, media and supporters of both candidates to Ann Arbor and campus during a pandemic,” sources told The Detroit Free Press.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were no debates held this election. I think everyone understands that they’d be disastrous to Biden.
Nobody on the Left is enthusiastic about Biden.
The question is: Is Anti-Trump hatred enough to get people out to the polls?

IN general, I have seen the same. Very rare but I do see the occasional pro-Biden post, but even then it is very week support.
Ironic that UM would want to protect Joe um Bi um Den.
He may not even be the candidate. He won’t be his own person anyway . . .I think that is a given.
I have noticed something about the left-wing relatives and former HS classmates who post about politics on Facebook. They have NEVER posted anything Pro-Biden. It has been 100% Anti-Trump.

Would probably have been the first time that conservatives were allowed on campus without mobs with torches chasing after them.
I would have a suggestion for the three debate locations. First, the deck of the USS Intrepid (parked in NY City)...no audience allowed on the vessel, just the two, five guests of each, and one moderator chosen by each. Second, USS Midway, parked in San Diego. Same rules on guests and moderators, with no audience. Third, deck of USS Alabama (parked in Mobile, Alabama). Same rules on guests, moderator, and audience).
Move it to Hillsdale. Just a bit over an hour away.
Every location will do this, but PDJT will call them out.
Not surprised or displeased. I wouldn’t trust a campus security to do an adequate job on event security anyway.

That’s not the reason at all. It’s because democrats are trembling in their boots at the thought of a debate. Millions would see that biden is a washed up old fart. This is why we MUST have a debate!
