Unredacted portions of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report on his Russia investigation were released Friday as a result of a lawsuit from BuzzFeed News and a nonprofit research group.

The newly disclosed portions reveal claims that Roger Stone notified President Trump and his campaign advisers in advance of a looming document dump that was potentially damaging to Hillary Clinton.

According to the documents, Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen told federal investigators he overheard a July 2016 phone call between Stone and then-candidate Trump in which Stone claimed to have spoken with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. Stone claimed the website planned to release a batch of information but that he "did not know what the content of the materials was."

Hmmmm... Michael Cohen, the archetypal truth-teller would never dream of lying. He’d sooner die or serve a long stretch in federal prison. /sarc

This is nothing. It was reported even here a week before the July 22nd release that WikiLeaks was going to release those emails. This supposed Stone call to Trump was “a couple of days before. . .” WikiLeaks released the Tranch of DNC emails, and they “didn’t know what was going to be in them. . .” How Earth shattering! Not!

This is rehashing very old Fake news!

What a nothingburger.

Everybody with any rudimentary internet skills knew Wikileaks was planning to dump more docs.

Yep. Sounds exactly like the overconvenient type of lie that Mueller’s team would have pressed for—and scumbag Cohen would have obligingly generated for them.

So what? That’s not a crime unless the Democrats deem it as such.

Under those terms, Hillary, Rice and other Obama traitors would be shot.

Here and all over the world. Maybe the FBI should interrogate the world’s population about Wikileaks.

I was in DC that day.
I overheard a Cohen phone call one hour later.
Cohen admitted the whole story was a bunch of malarkey
