A stupid costume choice at a Halloween party two years ago is front-page news in the newspaper of record in the capital city of the Empire? What on earth? ... I read it first with bemusement at the moral panic, and then finally, with horror over what we are doing to ourselves....
Honestly, what kind of white idiot shows up in blackface these days? Granted, this was 2018, but blackface was extremely taboo then. Thats what Schafers joke was about: how Megyn Kelly got herself in a world of trouble by suggesting that blackface was not that big a deal.
Anyway, thats what Schafer did. Partygoers Lexie Gruber (who is Puerto Rican) and Lyric Prince (who is black) confronted her about it. Schafer protested that it was a joke, that she was making fun of Megyn Kelly.
Prince, a young woman who is over six feet tall, at a DC Halloween party hosted by a liberal newspaper cartoonist, felt unsafe because this middle-aged woman was wearing blackface. Offended? Sure. Appalled? Absolutely. But unsafe? Bullsh*t.

It’s left vs. left, I couldn’t care less what happens to any of them.
Blackface was taboo when I was in college in the 1980’s. But it never stopped Coonman Blackface Northam.
We wonder how places like Cuba, the Soviet Union, North Korea, East Germany, etc. can keep the whole population so oppressed. It’s because they have enough people like this who will back stab anybody and everybody at the drop of a hat, and those in power will punish anybody over anything at the drop of a hat. Vile totalitarians.
I saw a North Korean family interviewed a few months ago.
They kept repeating that the great leader saved their lives.
That was a true statement—if they don’t do as they were told they would be killed!
I agree; let these people stew in their own juices; good people are getting fired from school, police and administrative posts across the country for saying far less. This bunch advocates leftwing policies that have gravely damaged this country and us, its middle class by planting the trees of falsehood, deceit and slanderous lies. Let them pick the fruit of their labors from the evil trees. As they have sown, so shall they reap. I’m waiting for the Post to take appropriate disciplinary action against the cartoonist who hosted this humiliating party. Post, where are you?
The governor of Virginia???
First it was Louis XVI, then Danton, then Robespierre. It took a dictator, Napoleon, to end it. Please Lord don’t let it go all that way here.
Prince, a young woman who is over six feet tall, at a DC Halloween party hosted by a liberal newspaper cartoonist, felt unsafe because this middle-aged woman was wearing blackface. Offended? Sure. Appalled? Absolutely. But unsafe? Bullsh*t. This is Social Justice Warrior cant. I first heard it myself at a table in DCs Adams-Morgan district in 1994, when I was having lunch with three liberal female friends, all of us in our twenties. One of them, seeing me cross myself before eating, asked if I was Catholic. Yes, I said. She asked if I was pro-life. Yes, I said. Then they all cut loose on me. One of the women, someone I had only met that morning, began trembling, and said she felt unsafe in the presence of someone who held my beliefs.
Because if they could get away with it, they'd hurt or kill you, and expect the same of you.
When I see a black woman wearing a 'white' wig - wearing OUR hair - I'm triggered. I feel these black women want to kill us and steal our hair.
Black women wearing white hair should be fired. Turn the monsters in to their employers. Same with black men who 'straighten' their hair mocking white men's hair... It's an outrage. We're all triggered. And threatened.
(ummmm, I'm I'm I'm not even capable of believing the BS that comes out of this woman's mouth - or my attempt to mock this woman. People in the black community have turned pity parties into violent art forms and it's sick.
