The sanctions are strangling North Korea. They are also being ignored as Kim is not doing much publicly. I suspect he is terrified of catching the coronavirus, but who knows?

Their past behavior indicates this is their typical behavior under such circumstances.

Trump has made every effort to try and temper the tensions, but like the CCP, it is probable that the Nork communists understand that any form of freedom would be the end of them and the list of crimes they have committed against their own people is legion. You can join the modern world and hang by a noose or you can keep absolute power in a hellhole of a nation.

Not much room for negotiation there for party officials. Every family in North Korea has “hanging grievances” against party officials. Every one.

In related news, the northern county of South Korea outlawed the sending of Bible balloons into North Korea.

The fix for this and other China related aggressions is to un-cuff South Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Encourage them to build their own nukes. All of them have the tech to be nuclear in a matter of a few months.

Do you use “Pay Pal”? I would like to take you up on that. But first, I would like to see your evidence.

Likely in Sinpo (South Hamgyong Province) in the northeast near their Romeo-class Sub production site there getting ready for rollout—perhaps a few test SLBM launches for show to follow up the Kaesong blast.
