Far too many Democrats in the sample and CNN had their thumb on the scale.

Did they actually demand an apology? That would be an odd request.

Why bother...CNN is preaching to the converted anyway....

Let them practice their back pedal for when Biden loses and everyone casts the CNN ‘poll’ sfantasies back in their faces.

That will be fun!

Yes an odd request and you can bet they knew it would be rejected.

But it did force CNN to defend their totally biased sampling.

They probably said something along the lines of “You owe the American people an apology for your attempts to mislead the electorate.” CNN just spinning its web of misinformation.

What is the strategy for asking the a-holes at CNN to do this? Why draw attention to it? Trump has a reason for most of the things he does but making such a demand to CNN is like asking for a septic tank not to smell if you open it.

If this is a CNN article, why are you posting a Google article?

“In the letter to Zucker, the Trump campaign argued that the CNN poll is “designed to mislead American voters through a biased questionnaire and skewed sampling.”

“It’s a stunt and a phony poll to cause voter suppression, stifle momentum and enthusiasm for the President, and present a false view generally of the actual support across America for the President,” read the letter, signed by the Trump campaign’s senior legal adviser Jenna Ellis and chief operating officer Michael Glassner.”

Interesting...

I’m not buying anything CNN is selling.

Trump probably said, “Look at CNN, haha, they’ve got sleepy Joe way ahead of me!”

Wrong. I’m tired of these BS polls with like 22% Republicans and unlikely voters. It’s about time someone high up called them out.

"Yes an odd request and you can bet they knew it would be rejected. But it did force CNN to defend their totally biased sampling. "

My thought too and a superb tactic to draw attention to a fake news poll. I'm sure he's not expecting CNN to apologize.

Trump goads them into reacting. Inevitably, they very publicly try to defend the indefensible, and reveal their bias to an ever widening audience. Works every time. In this case, more people will discover that their polls are manipulative garbage.

Far too many Democrats in the sample and CNN had their thumb on the scale.

There have been inklings of this before but I think the day has to come where an investigation into accuracy of polling is done, since it has a big impact on campaign donations and even strategies. And the turnout for voting!

What if CNN claims a little more Dems than others are among polled people but are lying and they used a huge number or, simply lied about the results outright?

Who says the pollsters really have query replies on an honest basis?

Like gangsters with two sets of books.

What’s the strategy you ask ?

He’s pulling their chain and they won’t be able to resist which will end in many non-political types learning how polls are rigged with biased sampling.

Media polls have been historically non exact. In fact, I cannot remember any poll that predicted an election outcome accurately. So, if polls are not exact, how can they be ‘scientific polling?’
