The mayor is trying to not the one under who’s authority the police get defunded and/or dismantled. But, he likely agrees with the idea.
In any case, the governor needs to step in and...
DISMANTLE THE MINNEAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL and perhaps put the mayor of of his job.
It’s the city council which is being unlawful and putting the city residents in danger. That cannot be allowed to proceed.
City council members are not in agreement with the majority of the people of the city, therefore, they cannot speak for those people. They don’t represent the best interests of the people and of the businesses in the city and state. They have gone full-blown wacko.
And Trump should keep doing what he has been doing. Talking tough, offer help (which will be refused) and criticize mercilessly when they fail to stop the violence. I believe Trump will never “call in the troops” for someplace like Minneapolis or NY City. He knows its a trap.
