“The Breakfast Club” co-host Charlamagne Tha God said his recent discussion with Rush Limbaugh was a waste of time because it felt like a “performance” by the conservative talk radio legend.
“What really bothered me about that conversation was, after I left that conversation I felt like it wasn’t productive. I have no problem talking to people from the other side but I just have to feel like that’s really your truth. I don’t know if I got that from Rush, it felt like more of a performance,” Charlamagne said Wednesday on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” during a wide-ranging conversation on race relations.
Colbert said he felt the same way when he interviewed President Trump. “It felt like a performance,” Colbert said.

I am one of the few that still like Rush alot, but he wasn’t prepared (of course I don’t agree with him all the time, but it is nice to have a powerful conservative voice). He could have answered a lot of questions better. Not that Charlamagne was not a race hustler and blames the white race for all of the black community’s problems.
There were better, well-thought-out arguments Rush could’ve made.
I listened to part of the conversation. I agree that it seemed like a performance from Rush. Rather than speaking hard truths and having a real conversation, it seemed like he was pandering.
I'm not going to waste my time finding out who that hole is. I've already wasted too much typing this post.
I could care less what some thug who calls himself “god” thinks. As for Colbert, he’s been throwing gas on this fire since Trump was elected.
He has no room for a differing point of view.

I fail to know why Rush stooped so low to acknowledge anyone referring themselves as God.
Did Rush actually think he could be seen as an equal by these clowns?
The problem... strike that, the question I would like asked of someone like Charlemagne is this: Do you ever think that maybe, possibly, something you construe as racism isn’t actually racism, but just bad luck\happenstance\or bad decision making on the part of the aggrieved? I’m not saying there isn’t racism because I know people who are in fact racist. What I am saying is that shit happens to me all the time and I never for an instant think its because I’m white. Usually I think that the person I am dealing with is an a-hole. Sometimes I think its because I’m a dumbass. It just never occurs to me to think otherwise and I’m wondering if black people are indoctrinated to believe that when bad things happen, as they do in every day life, they just automatically assume its because someone is racist.

Because Trump and Rush laid out some truths they can’t deal with or be bothered with. “Whites are racists and we’ll tell you what you need to do and pay so you’re not a racist.” is the narrative that they need to uphold at any cost.
