PHOENIX - Arizona will be under a curfew, starting at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, according to Governor Ducey.
Gov. Ducey made the announcement on his verified Twitter page Sunday. The Governor said he has issued a statewide Declaration of Emergency as well, and has also authorized an expanded National Guard mobilization.
Read at another site that this will be for a one week period.
There was a protest and minor scuffle in heavy red Prescott Valley last night. I guess I will carry everywhere in AZ now.
Brother’s office in downtown phoenix was vandalized (broken windows, graffiti), fashion square mall in scottsdale looted. Where is law enforcement?
i saw video earlier on Fox out of Philadelphia....must have been at least 12 cops cars parked single file on a street...maybe 10 rioters there taking their sweet time setting them on fire....and not a cop in sight...makes no sense.
That’s terrible. I can only imagine what they will find when they return to work tomorrow.

Ducey has turned out to be a real POS.
He should have announced that looters and rioters will be shot on sight, not punish the millions of AZ citizens who aren’t causing the problems by forcing them back inside.

You must have never been to Arizona. Much of Arizona are green mountains and forests, not cacti and deserts. And in central and northern Arizona the winters are pretty cold.

According to the Prescott Valley mayor Kell Palguta:
Starting tonight a Statewide Curfew of 8 PM will be enforced. Any person or group in violation assembling in public will be arrested.
This does not apply to shopping or being in a restaurant. This applies to protesters assembling outside on foot in groups.
Prescott Valley Police is equipped and prepared to enforce this law as well as assist neighboring towns and cities should they need assistance.
Announcements were on his Twitter feed, Channels 10 and 12 web sites. Could be other sites, too, not sure.
Ducey should be enforcing (with the use of force) the laws against rioting, arson, looting, and insurrection. Arsonists and Molotov cocktail throwers get shot dead in the act. Violent attackers of innocent people (who face imminent death from the attack) get shot dead to stop the attack. Insurrectionists blocking the streets and highways get arrested on sight and are hit with multiple rubber bullets if they resist.
Ducey needs to go hide behind his mommy's skirt.... or better still, leave the United States and never come back.
